A wedding in the Munich with wedding photos above the Marienplatz are something special. So is the subsequent celebration in the English Garden…
A wedding is a truly special day filled with many unique moments. Just recently I was allowed to accompany such a wedding in Munich, where one highlight followed the next. From the wedding in the small meeting room in the Munich City Hall to wedding photos on the balcony above the Marienplatz to a dreamlike celebration in the English Garden…
The Getting Ready
The day started with the Getting Ready, where beautiful photos were taken of the two of them. The bridal makeup by Angela Belaj emphasized the bride’s natural beauty and made her simply radiate. Afterwards, the First Look photos took place in the town hall at Marienplatz. The exciting moment when the bride and groom see each other for the first time is simply irretrievable….
The wedding ceremony in the small meeting hall and wedding photos above the Marienplatz
The wedding ceremony itself took place in the historic small meeting hall in the city hall of Munich. Here you can really, if you are chosen in a lottery, get married! And the best part: after saying yes, we were able to take wedding photos on the balcony above Marienplatz – the same balcony where FC Bayern regularly celebrates the championship. What a breathtaking moment.
Wedding celebration in the English Garden
The party then moved on to the English Garden, where the celebration took place. The catering by Wolfgang Weigler from Whowantsit spoiled the guests with delicious food and drinks. I look forward to meeting Wolfgang and his team every time – the food is killer, they are just so warm and have such stunning service….
A DJ then set the party mood with all the guests celebrating exuberantly. The cake cutting with an exclusive wedding cake by Alexa von Harder was another highlight of the evening. The floral decoration by Blumenstil Schwabhausen contributed to the romantic atmosphere and set the perfect backdrop for the wedding photos. From the getting ready to the exuberant celebration, we created a gorgeous wedding reportage that captured the highlights of the day.
I had an insane amount of fun being a part of this special wedding day and immortalizing the unique moments in pictures. The emotional connection between the bride and groom, the joy of the guests and the attention to detail were just palpable everywhere.
