Wedding in Bad Kohlgrub

Due to Corona, the two had to postpone their wedding. But even the date was almost on the verge. In the end, however, they were lucky and the two were able to get married in Bad Kohlgrub.

Lena and Alex had actually wanted to get married in May 2020. Due to Corona, they then postponed their civil wedding to October. But even this date was almost on the verge. But the two were then just lucky with regard to their wedding. It was one of the last dates, before then again all larger ceremonies were canceled.

For the civil wedding the two selected themselves a completely special place: the Hörnle. Up on the mountain you can get married under the open sky and for me this is one of the most beautiful civil weddings here around. But even that was not granted to the two. Because the wedding on the Hörnle takes place only in good weather. On this day in October, however, it unfortunately rained cats and dogs. What a pity for the two. But if you have already had to postpone the wedding, then the weather is secondary at some point and you are just happy if you can just get married. And so it was.

Lena and Alex didn’t let the weather spoil their mood. Before the wedding ceremony, we met in the Murnauer Moos and, despite the rain, made quite charming photos of the two and their groomsmen. The mood was just great and I had an incredible amount of fun with the wedding photos.

After the bridal couple photo shoot, we went to the registry office in Bad Kohlgrub, where the two of them said yes to each other in an emotional wedding ceremony. How nice that they were finally married and all their lovely guests were just as happy with them. We then took a few family photos under the roof and afterwards we went to Murnau to Zum Murnauer for dinner and a small family celebration.

Even if somehow everything came differently than the two had originally planned, I think the day was still perfect and unforgettable.

Now, however, it is unfortunately still keep your fingers crossed for the two. Because in 2021 they still want to marry in a larger church. I hope so much that it works this time and they do not postpone again or have to worry until the end… My fingers are crossed in any case and I’m looking forward to seeing the two and their loved ones again soon.
