Wow – what amazingly beautiful wedding photos in the mointains. Actually, there is no right weather for such photos: even winter and snow in the mountains makes for extraordinary moments.
At the end of February I went to a really great wedding photo shoot in Innsbruck, Austria.
I met the lovely Judith from Brautraum last year at a workshop. All the more I was happy that I could do this great wedding photo shoot together with her and the following service providers for her new collection:
Wedding dress: Brautraum (https://brautraum.at), Innsbruck
Suit: Luis Trenker (https://www.luistrenker.com), Innsbruck
Hair & Make-up: Wearhouse (http://www.wearhouse.at), Innsbruck
Wedding rings: Schmuckwerkstatt Natters (http://www.schmuckwerkstatt-natters.at), Natters
Flowers: Blumen Charisma (https://www.blumencharisma.at), Innsbruck
Cake: The cake nibbling (https://www.tortennascherei.at), Schönberg in the Stubaital
I left Weilheim in gorgeous spring weather and arrived in Innsbruck.
There we met our models Melanie and Andre at the styling for the wedding photo shoot. Around noon we took the Innsbruck Nordkettenbahn to the top. As probably everyone knows, the weather in the mountains can turn faster than you can imagine. And it didn’t take 10 minutes for the blizzard to arrive either. Perfect conditions to spend the afternoon by the fireplace.
But wedding photographers don’t let themselves be slowed down that quickly – we go out in all winds and weathers to capture the most beautiful moments for our wedding couples.
Thank God we were so incredibly lucky that our models participated.
At what felt like -10 degrees, they were really totally brave and I think you can see that in the wedding photos. For every wedding photographer and every bride and groom, such photos are of course unique.
After the wind then became too strong, we fled in the magical, lovingly designed igloo on the mountain, where the temperatures were finally bearable again…
