Sammy’s Berliner Donuts is not only a popular donut chain in Berlin, but is also known for its incredibly tasty and mostly vegan donuts. With constantly new creations, the chain delights donut lovers in several stores in Berlin.

For the new Sammy’s Berliner Donuts website, we first created a concept of which photos and which products we wanted to photograph and how. Based on this, we then procured the decorations and accessories we needed for the business photo shoot. And then we got started…

Photo reportage about the company

The highlight of the shoot was definitely the photos in the bakery. There we were able to experience first-hand how the delicious donuts are prepared. From making the dough to decorating – a real experience for all the senses. The temptation to try everything was really huge… For the photo reportage, we captured all the steps – from the dough to the finished donut – and thus also created additional content for the social media channels.

Product photos in lifestyle format

Of course, the product photos were also a must. The mega-delicious donuts were staged in a lifestyle format to showcase the irresistible variety and quality of Sammy’s Berliner Donuts.

Content for the new homepage and social media

The resulting photos were not only used for the new homepage – which was created by my husband’s agency AvH Creative Design – but also for Sammy’s Berliner Donuts’ social media channels. This allowed us to inspire the store’s fans with appetizing images and increase the anticipation of a visit.

The photo shoot at Sammy’s Berliner Donuts was a real pleasure. With my pictures I was able to capture the unique atmosphere of the store and express the passion for handmade and delicious donuts. I’m already looking forward to the next sweet adventure!
